Yum Asia Rice Cooker Review: Are They Yummy or Yucky?

I recently discovered the Yum Asia rice cooker brand while doing some product research, and one model in particular caught my attention: the Yum Asia Panda 3-cup fuzzy logic rice cooker. As I delved deeper, I also stumbled upon the larger 8-cup capacity model known as the Yum Asia Sakura. Additionally, I came across the Yum Asia Kumo, a 5.5-cup model that offers carb-reducing settings for both white and brown rice.

What I found appealing about these rice cookers was their attractive design and the fact that they had names instead of just bland model numbers, which can be difficult to remember and pronounce. In my review of Yum Asia rice cookers, I will explore each of these three models.

Who is Yum Asia?

Yum Asia was founded by owners who loved Asian cuisine but struggled to make perfect rice outside of Asia.

After failed attempts with regular rice cookers, they discovered Zojirushi fuzzy logic rice cookers, which changed their cooking experience.

Seeing the need for high-quality rice cookers in the UK and Europe, they brought Zojirushi premium rice cookers to these regions.

I do not know which Zojirushi rice cookers they are referring to, but I guess it might be a popular fuzzy logic model such as the Zojirushi NS-ZCC Neuro Fuzzy, or it could be a more expensive induction heating model such as the Zojirushi NP-HCC.

It does not really matter which Zojirushi models they were dealing with, for the reason that Yum Asia later created their own electric rice cooker models, such as the Panda and Sakura. These rice cookers are now also available in the United States of America.

I don’t know how they trained that tiny panda to point at things, but that s#!t is awesome.
